Daybreak Christian Fellowship

At church this past Sunday, one of our sisters gave a brilliant tesitmony. She sent her colleague our corporate confession to encourage her in the trying of her patience. The Daybreak Corporate Confession is what we believe about our relationship with God based on the scriptures. I could relate when she said that it's a blessing to repeat a few lines to herself when she needs it and to say it as a whole church every Sunday.

I thought I'd share because I have found myself reciting some of the lines to remind myself of the power that's within me. So if you ever hear me mumbling, "I CAN DO what you say I can do, I can do all things through Christ..." you'll know exactly what I'm saying!   ;)

Daybreak's Corporate Confession

Father, I now bring myself into agreement with your word.  Whereas it's impossible for you to lie, your word has now become my contract with you, the creator of the universe. 

I LIVE BY FAITH, NOT WHAT I SEE.  I'm sure that I have already received what I expect and certain that I have already gotten what I don't see.  Like you, I call things that don't exist into existance.  I'm careful about what I say because what I say is what you do.

I AM WHAT YOU SAY I AM.  I am your child, an heir with you, a new creation, free from guilt and worry, holy, righteous, healed, highly favored, abundantly prosperous, and debt free.

I HAVE WHAT YOU SAY I HAVE.  I have your power, love, wisdom, and self-discipline dwelling in me through your holy spirit.  I have the spiritual gifts in operation in my life.  I have everything I need.

I CAN DO WHAT YOU SAY I CAN DO.  I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.  I lay hands on the sick and they get well.  I drive out demons.  I speak to mountains and they move.  I speak in new tongues.  I build up the weak while bearing with their weakness. 

I will bless you at all times and not forget your benefits.  I worship you in spirit and truth.  With the voice of triumph I will shout Hallelujah!  Salvation and glory and power belong to my God.  You, Lord, are almighty and you reign supreme.
