1 Way to Go to Sleep Faster: Have an attitude of gratitude.

I'm trying this new thing. Expressing Gratitude.

I attend a Small Business Expo last weekend, and a speaker urged that if we didn't already have one, then we should all start a Gratitude Journal. It'll change our lives.

Before you go to bed at night write down (I chose to list at least 3 things) something that you are grateful for from that day. It can be simple, and it can be monumental. But it makes you acknowledge the good in your life and once you put that out into the atmosphere, the universe has no choice but to bring you more to be grateful for.

For example, last night I was grateful that I got to eat lunch with my whole team at work (and it was on the company). I spent some quality time and reconnect with some of my cousins. And I was offered a position over the summer that I'm really excited about. I'm grateful.

It's a beautiful thing to go to sleep realizing how blessed I am and it does wonders for my spirit when I wake up. This activity relaxes you and puts your mind, body, and spirit in a place that's ready to rest.

Try it. And see what changes in your life.
