Conversation in my head: "Don't look back. Do not look back. I won't go back. Don't look back. I'm not going back." I'm not convinced. aghhh Can anyone relate?


It's an overwhelming feeling. Whenever something doesn't turn out the way I want it to or when I feel unsure about what's ahead, I get the urge to pivot and linger in the comfort of what's behind me. I know how to handle and feel and react to everything I've already been through. To quote the people who have already seen Mystere and don't want to take a discount voucher from me, "Been There, Done That." Yea, and I got the t-shirt. I have conquered everything I've encountered in the past. Easy. But when I think about what lies ahead of me, I almost instinctively want to turn around and run, like a scaredy cat. I've got to get passed this fear thing. It only inhibits me and keeps me from surpassing what I've already accomplished. So today, I WILL NOT GO BACK. No matter how good or familiar or enticing it looks. FORWARD WE GO!
