Monday

From day one until the moment I landed in McCarren Int'l Airport six weeks later, Wi-Fi was a major issue. This story describes my experience with searching for it, using it, and by the end of my time in Italy, living without it. I'm sure lots of other students, not only in Italy, can relate to what seemed like a shift in atmospheric shift once Wi-Fi wasn't as easily accessible as it once was.

Chasing Wi-Fi

At times the language barrier was hard to handle, but this experience was a definite test of character. I wrote a story about going to the local supermarket, and with the help of a few people, having epiphanies, failures and redemptions all in that trip. It was definitely a moment of growth. Once again, published on my travel writing class blog, Allora, Viterbo.

PS. Thanks to Kristen for being my lovely model!!
Overwhelmed by all the beauty and adventure of Italy, I decided to write it all down. Here's a story about living in a city surrounded by walls, having walls up when it comes to love, and realizing that although living within walls can protect you, it can also impoverish you. The story is posted on my travel writing class blog, Allora, Viterbo. While you're there feel free to check out other stories that my classmates have written too!!
